Do I need a Russian Visa to enter the country?- A Russian visa is required for citizens of most countries. However, recently Russia settled a visa free regime with several European, Asian and South American countries. Do I still need an invitation? - Hotel booking confirmation and visa support documents (invitation) are not the same thing. Confirmation from a hotel is only sufficient if a hotel is authorized to provide visa support for foreign citizens. Only first class hotels (such as Sheraton, Marriott, etc.) are entitled to do this. If you book another hotel, you should also present a letter of invitation from an authorized tour company in order to get a visa. Yes, you need a visa invitation. Can I have a refund for visa invitation if I cancel a hotel reservation? - Once the tourist or business invitation is issued it will not be refunded, because the service has been provided in full. How and why should I pre-pay my booking? - You can pre-pay your reservation by credit card, wire transfer or in cash. When pre-paying you often get better prices then when you choose the "Payment at the Hotel" option, because of Bronevik special offers. If I pre-pay can I receive my money back if I cancel the reservation? - If you cancel your reservation before the cancellation dead line stated in your confirmation vaucher, you will get back all the money paid. If you cancel your booking after the cancellation dead line you will most probably be charged a cancellation fee equal to one night stay. Th exact cancellation terms are always explained prior to your booking is done and then in the confirmation vaucher. In most cases, payment for the room you have reserved should be received by the reservation system 48 hours before hotel check-in. If the request is cancelled or changed to another date less than 48 hours beforehand, the system will charge you for the first night’s stay, as is international practice. The remaining amount which you have paid for your stay will be refunded to your account.
In a number of cities it is possible to reserve hotels while paying for your stay directly at the hotel counter upon arrival. Payment can be made in cash or by bank card, if the hotel accepts the latter. This payment method guarantees that your rates are free of any fees from the reservation system.
However, note that if you do not cancel your request and fail to check in at the hotel while not giving prior warning, the hotel will add you to a client black list and in the future you will be unable to stay at the hotel if you do not prepay. If you are not 100% sure that your trip will happen, you can book a hotel allowing payment at the front counter, if there is such a hotel in the city you are visiting. Thus you can cancel your reservation 24 hours before check-in without being subject to any penalties.
If you reserved a hotel room and paid for your stay with a bank transfer, tell us your bank information (where we should send the money to) and your passport information. However, note that refunds will be made in accordance with the hotel’s cancellation policy and deadlines. If you cancel your reservation before the cancellation dead line stated in your confirmation vaucher, you will not be charged any penalty at all. If cancelled later than the dead line you will most probably be charged a penalty equal to one nightstay. You can cancel a hotel reservation without penalty up until a certain number of hours before check-in, as indicated in your request. Generally speaking, reservations can be cancelled without penalty up to 48 hours before check-in.
If a transfer is cancelled less than 24 hours before the time of dispatch of the vehicle specified in the request, a refund will not be made. Can I pay directly at the Hotel upon arrival - Yes, you can choose the option of payment at the hotel. In this case you do not have to pre-pay anything. However, some of the bronevik special discount offers will not be available for this form of payment. When you cancel a reservation, we refund you your money to your bank account or card within five working days.

How to book a hotel? - Booking a hotel at Bronevik.com can not be easier! 1. Search: You may start booking using the Hotel Search form at the left top corner of the main page: choose the city, enter the dates of arrival and departure. You may also set the maximim budget per night (before doing that please set the currency above on the right, the default currency is Roubles). If you are looking for a particular hotel you may put the hotel name either. If you book a hotel in a city with the subway, you will also be able to choose the nearest station. 2. Choose: In the search results choose the hotel you like most and click the tick button in the book column. 3. Fill the form: Fill in the booking details, then click Continue. At this point you may either proceed with booking another hotel or check out. 4. Check out: where you may check your order status, proceed with payment if required, print out the confirmation vaucher, etc. The access to your oredr account will also be sent to your e-mail address so that you may check it any time later. What is the difference between hotels with "free sale" and "on request"? - In the search results you will see hotels with green mark "free sale" or a number in the column "rooms available". These hotels provide instant confirmation.
