Mini-hotel Amira Timura Street, 33
The Royal Palace Hotel is an example of national Uzbek architecture. Massive, exotic double-leaf iron gates open the entrance to an inner brick courtyard with a green lawn and a colorful pan on the left wall with a view of Registan Square, as well as a miniature marble staircase leading to the reception hall decorated in Oriental style.
The hotel staff will meet you at the entrance and escort you to the hotel building. A striking feature of the Royal Palace Hotel is its asymmetrical configuration, which gives an element of exclusivity to the design of the hotel as a whole and the rooms arranged in a series of chains with their unusual exterior and interior decor in particular. At the entrance to the hall, the charming, ornately carved wooden doors leading to the cozy hall of the restaurant offering its services in the selection of dishes of national and European cuisine immediately attracts the attention of visitors and tourists.
The terrace on the second floor is furnished with an Uzbek national decoration item called "tapchan" (here is a photo of a tapchan) - "a wide, bed-type, square-shaped bench with backs for relaxing and dining outdoors." Sitting on the tapchan, visitors can enjoy the aroma of green tea or the taste of autumn, sweet, juicy fruits for a peaceful conversation, contemplating the evening sunset and enjoying the evening coolness. A mini tea bar on the second floor is also at your service, where you will be offered coffee, lunch and fruit at reasonable prices. Harmonious shades of green, peach and beige colors of the wall decor are perfectly combined with elegantly selected furniture and accessories of national color in the corridor halls. The photo gallery presented here reflects the scenes of the past history of the city of Samarkand, Samarkand residents, their lifestyle and occupation.
The maitre d' of the hotel restaurant welcomes visitors hospitably and accompanies them to their tables. The menu changes depending on the wishes and tastes of customers. A team of young but agile waiters is at your service all 24 hours.
Royal Palace Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Central Park, shopping center and Bazaar. A short bus or taxi ride will take you to the heart of Samarkand – Registan Square, Ulugbek Observatory and Shahi–Zinda Necropolis.
